Privacy policy
Last updated: 1 August 2026
This privacy policy explains how 351 Visa collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use our website and client portal.
1. Who we are
351 Visa provides lawyer-guided immigration tools and coordinates with licensed Portuguese lawyers. For privacy questions, contact us at support@351visa.com.
2. Data we collect
Depending on how you use the service, we may collect: account details (name, email, phone, date of birth, nationality, country of residence); visa preferences and eligibility answers; documents you upload to the document vault (for example passport scans, proofs of income, leases, and photos); technical data such as IP address, browser type, and basic usage logs; and messages you send us (including WhatsApp) when you ask for help.
3. Why we use your data
We use your data to create and manage your account; recommend and track a visa route; store and share documents with your assigned legal team; communicate about your case, payments, and next steps; improve the reliability and security of the platform; and comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal bases
Where the GDPR / Portuguese data protection rules apply, we process data based on: contract performance (providing the portal and related services you request); legitimate interests (securing the platform and improving the product in a way that does not override your rights); consent (where required, for example certain cookies or optional communications); and legal obligation when we must retain or disclose information.
5. Document vault and sensitive information
Files you upload may include identity and immigration-related information. They are stored so your case can be reviewed and prepared for submission. Please upload only documents needed for your visa process. Access is limited to you and authorised members of the legal/operations team working on your case.
6. Sharing your data
We may share data with: licensed lawyers and support staff handling your matter; service providers that host the app, authentication, and file storage (for example Supabase infrastructure); payment or communication tools when needed to deliver the service; and authorities if required by law. We do not sell your personal data.
7. International transfers
Our providers may process data in the EU/EEA or other countries. When data leaves the EU/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision, where required.
8. Retention
We keep account and case data for as long as needed to provide the service and handle your application. Documents and related records may be retained afterwards for legal, accounting, or dispute purposes, then deleted or anonymised when no longer required.
9. Security
We use access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS), and authenticated storage for uploaded files. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please keep your login credentials confidential.
10. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal data, and object to certain processing. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, email support@351visa.com. You can lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD) or your local supervisory authority.
11. Cookies
We use necessary cookies and similar technologies for authentication, security, and basic site operation. If we add optional analytics or marketing cookies, we will present choices where required by law.
12. Children
The service is aimed at adults managing immigration matters. If you upload data about dependents (for example family reunification), you confirm you are authorised to provide it.
13. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the service after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
14. Contact
Privacy requests: support@351visa.com. For case questions, you can also reach our lawyer via the WhatsApp contact shown in the client portal.
