For non-EU citizens admitted to an education or training institution in Portugal who intend to reside in the country for the duration of their studies.

Eligibility requirements

  • Have admission/enrolment in an eligible education institution or course in Portugal.
  • Have sufficient means of subsistence for the study period.
  • Have accommodation arrangements in Portugal.
  • Meet the applicable general entry and residence conditions.
